CHURCH NEWS:

Last Sunday, we remembered the first anniversary of Denis Sexton, Lisduane. Also, the anniversaries of Phil & Chrissie Noonan, Eileen Houlihan & the deceased members of the Houlihan and O'Brien families.

Mass Requests can be taken in the Church every Thursday, Friday and Sunday, after Mass. Mass Cards/Bouquets are also available after any of the Masses. Church open 9.30 - 5pm daily.

Ash Wednesday: Wed 5th Mar, Mass in Ballingarry at 10am and in Granagh at 7pm.

St. Patrick's Day: Mon 17th, Mass in Granagh at 10am, vigil mass in Ballingarry on Sun 16th at 7pm.

First Sunday of Lent; Every Lenten season, Trócaire draws our attention to places and people in the world who are suffering because of the greed, selfishness, or thoughtlessness of others. This year we meet Julio and Ilma and their four children who live in central Guatemala, and we learn how erratic weather patterns arising from climate change are devastating their crops and lifestyle. COOLRUSS LIGHTS:

The Christmas Lights for Charity recently presented Michael Hegarty, SJF CEO, with an incredible €2,330 raised from the Christmas Lights. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Christmas lights, St. Joseph's Foundation is so thankful for fundraising events like these Christmas Lights, organised by Joe and Bernie.


INT. WOMEN's DAY:

Wed, 5th March at Croom Family Resource Centre, for a morning of mindfulness, connection, and inspiration.

Start your day with our Mindful Moments workshop from 10:30am - 11:15am. (€5 fee- Payable on the day) Then, enjoy a Coffee Morning from 11:15am, where we’ll be joined by our wonderful guest speakers: Norma Psillos – Speaking on women’s nutrition and well-being and Louise Crowley – Speaking on women’s empowerment.
