June arrives & so too the Exams:
















CHURCH AFFAIRS:

Thur 6th; No morning Mass. Last Sunday, for the Feast of Corpus Christi, we had the children attending again, and they received their Communion certificates from Fr. Tom. They were in great voice as usual with Roisín accompanying them.

Exams: Books open in the Church to include students who are doing exams. Best wishes and good luck to the young people beginning the Junior and Leaving Certificate Exams.

PAROCHIAL HOUSE:

Thur 6th, 8.30pm, in the Hall: Granagh Dev are inviting interested individuals to join a steering group to advance the parochial house project. All are welcome to join this group, whether or not you attended the parish meeting. The decision has been made to purchase the house, for the parish and as a parish asset. The success of this project will totally depend on the formation of a steering group.

We never get to choose when we need blood. But we can choose when to give...!


HELP RATHFREDAGH:

Their garden fete is happening the first Sunday in July. They are looking for donations of saleable second-hand goods for the bric-a-brac stall and for the other stalls : clothes (no underwear), jewellery, handbags, shoes, soft toys, books, CDs, DVDs, household goods ornaments, etc.

Donations NOT accepted are: duvets, pillows, mattresses, electrical goods and broken items. Items can be dropped off at Rathfredagh Cheshire Home, reception.

Liskennett has been nominated by AIB, for their community fund. They need your vote before 12th June !
