Still Feeling PINK:
COLLECTION: Sat/Sun 3rd & 4th Aug, Parish Clerk's Annual collection. No one realises the amount of time Kathleen gives to our Church - it takes a very dedicated person to be Sacristan. She has the responsibility of opening the Church every day, making sure the correct readings are selected, keeping an eye on the upcoming masses, changing the linens and making herself available for every service that takes place from christenings to communions, confirmations, weddings and funerals. For every family event we celebrate in Church, Kathleen is always there, unseen, but with us. Just lately, I noticed that at the special mass for Peggy Tierney, she had all pink flowers on display and of course at mass last Saturday she had green and white !! Thoughtful little touches. Hopefully, everybody will try and support this collection and show their appreciation for the tremendous work she does.
