We offer our sincere condolences to the family of the late Eileen Simcox nee Lynch, who passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday 29th April, 2018.
Beloved wife of Sean and dear mother of Keith, Ciara and Lisa. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, son, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandson Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Ciara's partner Kevin, Keith's partner Fiona, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. She was reposed at her residence in Garryfine, Rockhill, on Tuesday 1st May. Reception into St Munchin's Church, Rockhill on Wednesday 2nd with Requiem Mass at 12. 30pm. Funeral afterwards to Granagh Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Milford Care Centre, Limerick.
Eileen always had a deep grá for her home parish and if called on at any time to lend a helping hand, there was no need to ask twice.
She joined the Granagh branch of Macra Na Feirme and was involved in every competition, function, fundraiser, as well as Talent Alive, Light Entertainment shows and Drama competitions.
When Granagh Players was formed and staged their first play ' Sive ', Eileen was offering to help with continuity among other duties. She came to help with each play after that. She loved being involved and you could depend on her totally.
She joined our team for the Afternoon Tea Dances in 2008 and rarely missed one. She got to know all the dancers, was rarely off the floor and enjoyed the laugh and craic.
