GRANAGH DEV. ASSOC:

The AGM of the group was held on 10th October and thanks to all those who attended. Officers for 2017/18: Joint Chairpersons:- John Bennett & Liam Houlihan. Secretary:- Niamh O'Hanlon. Asst. Sec:- Emma Chawke. Treasurer:- Shane Toomey. Asst. Treas:- Dermot Flynn. PRO:- Mary O'Regan. Delegates:- Joe Power, Emma Chawke, Anne Hickey, Bridget Tierney. Sincere thanks to the outgoing officers, secretary Eileen Power & treasurer Mary Lynch for giving their valuable time for the benefit of the community. Eileen, very efficiently, looked after hall bookings, functions, correspondence and myriad of other duties. She spent most of this Summer, compiling information and applying for a LEADER grant to replace the main floor in the Hall & make improvements to the insulation. This year's application form holds the record for being one of the most complicated ever !! Mary, our treasurer, produced an excellent report on our income & expenditure and not a penny goes unaccounted for. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mary for the Dept. of Finance, she would straighten things out - without a receipt... you don't get paid.

Hall Bookings: You can now check Hall availability on our Web Site under heading 'Event Calendar' on www.granagh.com . To make a booking please contact Niamh on 086-3650623 or email - niamhohanlon1@gmail.com
