DRAMA - BANOGUE:
" It's the Real McCoy " by Tommy Marren and production by Mary Liston. Beginning this week in Banogue Hall on Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th Nov, at 8.00pm. And again the following week-end Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th Dec. Adults €10 and Children €5. A hilarious comedy and a great night's entertainment.
YOUTH CLUB:
Junior Leaders of Granagh Youth Club attended junior leader training in the Burren during the October midterm. They really enjoyed it and learned loads to bring back to club members.
Ellen Murphy said she learned lots of great activities to try out in the club. Beth Stapleton made loads of new friends and was very interested in ideas from other youth clubs . Leanne Herlihy loved the kayaking and making new friends. Sean English said the Burren was unbelievable and the training was loads of fun. Aaron Noonan really enjoyed the caving, and got the chance to feed a fox. Sarah Condon also enjoyed the caving and drinking the hot chocolate!.
All the Junior Leaders at Granagh Youth Club would like to thank the Senior Leaders at the Burren. They are all looking forward to meeting their Junior Leader friends again.
MASS COLLECTION:
The local conference of St. Vincent De Paul are holding their annual church gate collection this coming weekend in both Granagh and Ballingarry. All monies collected are used for the needy in the locality.
COLÁISTE ON RTE:
Students from Coláiste Na Trocaire have been given an opportunity to participate in the live broadcast of Mass on this coming Sunday 29th Nov at 11am. Fr. Michael O'Shea, a past pupil and native of Rathkeale will lead the Mass.
CONCERN:
A collection for the charity Concern was taken up last week-end at both Churches. The amount collected in Granagh was €210 and in Ballingarry €731. Sincere thanks to all who contributed and also to the collectors for their time.
