GRANAGH PLAYERS:
They are back rehearsing.! This year, Jim Chawke has chosen ' Second Honeymoon ' by Sam Cree. Cree was a Northern Irish playwright, born in Lisburn in 1928. During the 1960s and 1970s he wrote several long running and popular plays for Scottish comedians James Young and Jimmy Logan. This hilarious comedy follows a week in the life of Frank McIlroy and his wife Agnes who have chosen to revisit the guest house where they had spent their honeymoon twenty five years earlier. Sounds like a wonderful idea, but things do not work out according to plan !!
