NATIONAL SCHOOL

GRADUATIONS:

On Wednesday 25th, the school celebrated the 2015 graduations with a lovely Mass. Congratulations to the 6th class pupils who are beginning another phase of their education in September. We wish them all well and hope they will be happy in their new schools.

TIME FOR THE RACES:

The Horse & Pony Races will take place on this coming Sunday 5th July in Timmy O'Gorman's field at 1.30pm. Granagh National School, Ballingarry School and Ballingarry playground are just some of the beneficiaries of the profits. Please support if you can.

LISKENNETT FARM:

Introduction and Demonstration on the Horse Boy Method by Rupert Isaacson at Liskennett Farm, on Thursday 9th July at 2.00pm and on Friday 10th July at 7.00pm. The theme - bringing the healing effect of horses to children and adults with special needs. All Welcome.

2015 Soccer Awards night was held on Sunday 28th in the Community Centre. The following are the results: -

U10B player of year - Liam Carroll. U10B most consistent player - Cian Harold. U10B top scorer - Darragh O Carroll. U10 player of the yea - Eoin Horgan. U10 most consistent player - Fionn O' Brien. U10 top scorer - Colin Bresnihan . U12 player of year - Jack O' Connor. U12 most consistent player - David Bennett. U12 top scorer - Paudie Murphy. U14 player of the year - James Stapleton. U14 most consistent player - William O' Regan. U14 top scorer - Mj Purtill. U12 interleague player of tournament - Jack O' Connor. U13 interleague player of year - Sean Murphy.

COMMUNITY GAMES:

U14 Camogie Team: We would like to wish Tony and the Girls the very best in UL on Saturday 4th July, their first game will take place at 11am against Glanmire in Cork.

U16 Mixed Draughts: We would also like to wish our U16 team the very best on Saturday morning in UL.

Team: Lisa Lynch, Eoin Sheahan, Gearoid Lynch, Conor Lynch, Mark Sheahan and Sean English, managed by Mike Sheahan.

GRANAGH PEBBLES:

Afterschool childcare for children in Granagh.!!! It will be based in the Community Centre with collection from the school at 2pm and 3pm.
